Xanadu Delights

Middle Eastern Dance, Arabic/Egyptian or bellydance as it is popularly known, can be a very sensual, feminine form of exercise; yet at the same time it awakens a powerful energy from within, bringing both confidence and a sense of wellbeing.
This is even more so when a group of women are dancing together, connecting with all that feminine energy; which is so uplifting!
It is fun and inspiring; often opening up new avenues and bringing about positive life changes.
This form of dance brings enjoyment not only to the dancer but to those observing.
It is a celebration, and this is reflected by my students when they practise and perform and they are encouraged to feel the music and to dance from the heart.
My name is Veronica Clark, Vronnie to all my friends and fellow dancers.
I am the founder, teacher and choreographer for Xanadu Delights, who perform regularly at various festivals, charities and private functions.
Teaching both Arabic/Egyptian styles and American Tribal Style belly dance here in Cornwall, I have been dancing for 17 years and teaching for the last 9 years.
I gained my Cert Ed in 2006 and recently completed the JWAAD Foundation Teacher Training course.
At the present I teach regular classes throughout the week, both through Truro College and Newquay Adult Education and I also run private classes around Cornwall.
